You can and I do.

For gits and shiggles, I built packages for all the beryl/emerald
components. You can grab the srpms and spec files here, if you're
inclined to play:

I'll take it up with the person who submitted the compiz-quinn package
review request to figure out where to go from here to get beryl and
friends into Extras...
