No, because a build *absolutely* needs to be deterministic, for security 
reasons among others.

You're right, but it is or it isn't. This isn't an analog thing.

See the ATLAS package for ways to deal with this kind of thing. You have 
to "record" the execution on a host and be able to replay it 
deterministically.
