ffplay and toolame

Hi

ffplay is a ffmpeg based player and toolame encodes in a format that is 
not mp3 but apparently is compatible with many mp3 players. I noticed 
that these packages are both in Debian and in gNewsense (allegedly).

Anyone has comments on whether these are acceptable in Fedora?
