I've just moved xmms and xmms-alarm from "potentially orphaned" to orphaned status, like planned and mentioned a couple of times recently. If nobody picks up both xmms and xmms-modplug before FC7, I'll probably split modplugplay out of the latter into a separate package and submit it.
