free nx client

I've just recently heard of 2x, and I've been involved with FreeNX for a
few years now. The client looks exactly like the NoMachine client, so
this bothers me. I'm not entirely sure of the legality of this fork, how
it was developed and how they got to where they did with it. They may
say it's GPL'd, but it scares me....
