Why aren't R packages noarch?

  As Patrice said R packages are in the same boat as perl or python packages.

$ rpm -ql R-wavethresh | grep so
/usr/lib/R/library/wavethresh/libs/wavethresh.so

  In my book this does not seem like a noarch file. ;-)
