google-droid-fonts-20090906-4.fc12

> Someone please test on a CJK system

I just tried and no change unfortunately.

> (and report back, detailing the test he used if it does not work)

Test:
1) LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8 gucharmap
2) search for '和'

Cases:
A) with google-droid-sans-fonts installed
B) without google-droid-sans-fonts

Results:
A) glyph rendered in Droid Sans
B) glyph rendered in IPAPGothic

(Of course if you are running a running a japanese desktop
(or use LANG instead of LC_CTYPE) you will see whole desktop
(application) change too.)
