I did a quick test of the merged wijesekera file using scim-gtk (up-to-date
F11) and typed the keys "fkda":

gedit (GTK): detected
lyx (QT): detected
oowriter: detected
firefox: not detected
evolution (TO/SUBJECT): detected
evolution (message pane): not detected (strange/unpredictable behaviour)

* "detected" means that the input string was displayed correctly. i.e. The
input string should trigger surrounding text support.
* "not detected" means that the input string was displayed incorrectly. i.e.
The application presumably claimed to support surrounding text but actually did
not.
