Hi Stephen,

Would you try Ctrl-Alt-[num] to change the input methods?

We have two type of changing mechanism so that if one application
override the shortcut then another one will kicks in.

However for that particular case on your problem, it should fixed on the
rawhide packages of IIIMF.
