From i.jochim at querysoft.de Fri Feb 8 14:23:29 2008 From: i.jochim at querysoft.de (Ingo Jochim) Date: Fri, 08 Feb 2008 15:23:29 +0100 Subject: langsupport on kickstart Message-ID: <47AC65E1.5070301@querysoft.de> What has changed from FC4 to F7 regarding the langsupport using the kickstart script? With FC4 I used the langsupport option in the kickstart script. It added a few line and options to the /etc/sysconfig/i18n file to add more languages. With F7 the langsupport option is not supported any more. I played with @german-support. But this seems not to use the /etc/sysconfig/i18n config file which I was using in a script. I appreciate your help. Ingo -- Checked by AVG Free Edition. Message-ID: <47BA57CF.5060308@redhat.com> While giving a talk on Fedora I18n at the Miniconf at LCA, it occurred to me that maybe we should have a mailing-list for fedora i18n bugs [1]. Is this something that people would find useful? The I18n Engineering team at Red Hat have used a mailing-list internally to track all i18n bugs for a good while and it has been pretty useful for that: so I am writing this mail to hear if there is interest in a list to follow i18n bugs for Fedora. There is also the i18n bugzilla keyword which is also useful for tagging i18n bugs (though to date we have not used it systematically). However a mailing-list has the advantage that it receives bugzilla mail when bugs updated (the list would probably be medium volume), making it easier to track issues. It doesn't seem to get very much traffic :) I guess the notion is to use this list for discussion around bugs on the -bugs list. That should lead to traffic and make for greater interaction ~sankarshan -- >From Untruth, lead me to the Truth, >From Darkness, Lead me towards the Light, >From Death, Lead me to Life Eternal From petersen at redhat.com Wed Feb 20 05:49:56 2008 From: petersen at redhat.com (Jens Petersen) Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2008 15:49:56 +1000 Subject: fedora-i18n-bugs list? It doesn't seem to get very much traffic :) Because the volume of bug traffic is much higher than this list, so it would totally swamp out any conversations here.
