but as I reported to this list back in October, my attempts at a network install
of this version were initially unsuccessful due to "Unable to read package
metadata from repository". Eventually I did progress slightly beyond
this obstacle (by manually adding a *new* repository location instead of trying
to modify the default, if my memory is correct) but shortly thereafter I
encountered a "package not found" error trying to
retrieve the SMP kernel package (missing in action?), so I concluded
the fc10 development "rawhide" distro was still a little too raw for my
needs.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
