This is a strange one. The problem only happens with the new kernel.
If I install the kernel from F9 then rpm and rpmbuild work just fine.

I have no clue why the kernel would make a difference here but evidently
a syscall is failing somewhere. Still digging.

If anybody has ideas on what could cause this let me know.
- Doug

Doug tracked this down to a kernel change that required a newer version of glibc than we had for F10. I had already built the F11 alpha version of glibc and that appears to fix the problem so I pushed that out in the F10 updates directory.

So, F10 should be mostly functional now. Be sure to do a yum update right after you install to get this updated glibc.

Thanks Doug for finding and debugging this one.

Dave
