Host DOWN alert for gateway! (fwd)

Was anyone on these boxes when this happened or by chance caused it?  The
outage was very short probably less than a minute, I'm digging through
lots and such but I thought I'd ask.  I think it was a network issue or
possibly OpenVPN as bastion never actually was down.
