Novell/progeny to take up redhat legacy services

cheapbytes takes Red Hat sources and removes all RedHat 
proprietary stuff, compiles, and ships it with 'pink tie' 
where 'red hat' used to occur.

RH9 (er... Pink Tie 9) ships this way.

So: Get 1 RHEL system with one set of RHEL stuff, 
get that system patched, sourced, and fully configured,
Keep that system patched, sourced, and up2date.
Then compile your sources on that system, verify as 
you need, and distribute from that system to all your 
network.

Perhaps RHEL will be cheaper than your time (including spent and lost time).

If you steal RedHat work which is covered under the SLA then you could
be fined.  RedHat makes it very clear what you have to pay for and what
you don't.

RHEL is not a free product.  You are not free to copy it from computer
to computer.

It is the packaged artwork and possibly some of the configuration
utilities that make it non-free.  Strip those out and you can do as you
like.
