Failed dependencies error upon downloading yum for RH 8

Beware of the warning on the www.fedoralegacy.org web page, that Red Hat
7.2 and 8.0 support has been suspended.

Either install the patch RPM package (it's on your Red Hat 8.0 install
CD's or DVD) or remove the URL for rpm-build from the rpm -Uvh command.
