libpng for 7.x

As last updates from Red Hat for 7.X distros had a version
libpng-1.0.14-0.7x.4 (Build Date: Thu 19 Dec 2002) then calling
current ones libpng-1.0.14-0.7x.4.legacy.0 seems a bit confusing.
Was that intentional?
