Here it is.

[root at email root]# rpm --query --provides glibc | grep libc
libcrypt.so.1
libcrypt.so.1(GLIBC_2.0)
libc.so.6
libc.so.6(GCC_3.0)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.0)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.1)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.2)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.3)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.1)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.2)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.3)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.4)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.6)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.2)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.3)
glibc = 2.3.2-4.80.8
[root at email root]#

and

[root at email root]#
[root at email root]# rpm --query --whatprovides 'libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.2)'
glibc-2.3.2-4.80.8

Does it appear that my glibc needs updating? Or am I starting to run into
the wall for RH8? For what it's worth...if I can successfully get to the
end of this I'd be happy to do a write up on it if that would be of some
help!
