Demand: porting of iptables-1.2.8-12.3 to fedora legacy systems

Hi,

I eventually found out a bug-fixed version of iptables for RHEL3. 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=111999

However, the latest version of iptables for the legacy RH9 is still
1.2.8-8.90.1. I am running my own rc script on the RH9 firewall as a
workaround, the bug-fix to RH9 is still in the state of demand.

Any idea ?
