New sendmail breaks ability to mail to *@mmode.com

Do you use a SPF DNS record?  If so, make sure that the host(s) recorded 
in the TXT record are valid.  Also, connect to your mailserver ("telnet 
<server> 25") and see what hostname it thinks it is.
