Installing KDE PIM

When I try to install KPIM from my FC1 installation CDs, I get through
the whole process and then I get a dialog that says "an error occurred"
(more or less) and that's it. The installation fails.

I can't find any way to download a new RPM or any other binary of KPIM
on the net (bizarre, that). Can anyone give advice about how I can find
out what is going wrong with my installation CDs?
