Wow, thanks, but 2.4 would be fine as well. I'm not looking for the world, 
just something I'm happy with. I've never had an issue with this controller, 
which is obviously not the normal, but I'm not gonna complain. I'm writing 
this from Mandrake 9.2 for the amd64. I'm just not happy with the rc1 version 
of this and am not sure what the deal will be with updates and such as this 
is not a run of the mill desktop version and I suspect Mandrake wants to make 
money on it. I'm not willing to pay for it. That said, if it would just be 
possible to get the Promise SATA controller into whatever kernel boots the 
iso would be great, as from there it's not a big leap to keep it running.
