I am not in fedora at the moment but tried kscd,noatun,workman and I think 
gnomeplayer but none work...The cd spoins and it changes track ok..I can rip 
tracks from it into  /home/user/music and play them ok ...The sound level is 
set to max but still no noise from the cd..
