problem connecting windows client over fedora firewall

Yes, that's the way it's connected.

internet = eth0
local net = eth1 = gateway/NDS

I'm trying a standard Linux kernel now, but I have some doubt that it will 
solve my issues.

I have also tried switching the windows network to 10Mbit/s, also no change.
