Question about connecting to the net through a winxp machine

The above is due to lack of permissions.. YOu need to be root to
execute/list that.. try sudo?? if you have it in.

Pls try to list your iptables.. maybe it's cause of your firewall configs??

would ping 127.0.0.1 work??
