hi
i tried to communicate with my palm
gpilotd seems to be buggy and sometimes freeze without any means to kill
it.
the same for pppd look below:
kill -9 6435 ; ps -aef |grep pppd
root 6435 6421 0 10:53 pts/1 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/pppd
/dev/pilot 230400 192.168.1.234:192.168.1.235 proxyarp passive silent
persist noauth local nodetach

i try killall -s KILL pppd nothing done have tried telinit 1 and its
the same no way to kill it.
i just can reboot.
Any idea on how to correct this ?
why is there some process that are unkillable in FC1 (never see this
before for a long time linux user)

so time to reboot now!
