install fails on Averatec 3120V laptop - solved

Hey All,

got it to go.

The installation option that worked was: nopcmcia nofb

I don't know if the nopcmcia was required since the boot after
installation didn't require skipping pcmcia with interactive boot as was
suggested elsewhere, but nofb during the installation was critical.

Other than that, a bit of diddling to get 1024x786, I'm a happy
camper...
