determine the amout of video ram

As you advise me i tried 8bits mode 1152x864 but no sucess. My display
setting block to 1024 x 768 but i am in 85Hz (I saw that with
"gnome-display-properties" under X) by default.

Maybe it would be better in 75hz but i don't know how to change this in
/etc/XF86Config file.
