Let me second this bug report.  Nautilus seems to hang onto the cdrom
even after closing all references to it.  The strange thing to me is
that "fuser" cannot locate a process that is using the device in any
normal way, but attempts to unmount it as root fail with a "device busy"
error.

Logging out the Gnome session and logging bback in clears the problem
for me and allows the cd to be unmounted via any convenient method. Does
not seem to occur under a KDE session.
