The error message you're seeing usually is an indicator of trying to use
an USB storage device whose vendor ID and product ID are not known to
the kernel.

Uhmmm... This is rather curious. What kernel version are you running?
I've been looking at 2.6.0 kernel sources and there exists an entry for
your memory stick, so I guess you're probably running a 2.4 kernel.
Could you please tell me exactly what kernel it is? Is it a Fedora stock
kernel or a self-compiled one? I need to have a look at the kernel
sources for the kernel you're running to see if an entry exists for your
memory stick.
