Compiling kernel problem

I did as you said, and the same error:

+ exec /sbin/installkernel 2.4.22-1.2135.nptlcustom bzImage
/usr/src/linux/System.map ''
No module sata_sil found for kernel 2.4.22-1.2135.nptlcustom, aborting.
mkinitrd failed
make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make[1]: Saliendo directorio `/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot'
make: *** [install] Error 2

I think Im going to reinstall Fedora Core and then try.
