Help customising Fedora for my grandfather.

I think that GNOME is nice and simple, and suitable for his needs. From 
my experience of KDE, it can present quite a lot of complexity to the 
user (the KDE control panel, for instance).

I don't want to get into a holy war, but KDE is out of the question :-)
