A good book on C Programming?

Two quick suggestions

I posted a C++-related question here a few months ago and one of the
responses to that suggested I join a C/C++ club which I've been meaning
to do for a while now. You can search off my past posts in either this
forum or the Fedora-test-list forum.

Subscribe to C/C++ Users Journal ( http://www.cuj.com/ ), they are worth
it but you need a level of expertise to really appreciate them. Herb
Sutter's column alone is worth the subscription price.

Also consider the upcoming book "C++ GUI Programming With Qt 3" By
Blanchette and Summerfield. Due out in January.
