Interestingly, one of the reasons I wanted to switch to Linux is that my
hosting provider's insatallation of Spamassassin "broke" and they won't/can't
fix it so I wanted to install/run it locally.
I couldn't get Spamassassin working though, so I installed Popfile and finally
got it working more or less properly.
I'm filtering spam out pretty well now.
