Mount ntfs

Hello,
relating to ntfs:
i have compiled the 2.6 kernel with ntfs support (using
kernel-source-2.6.0-1.21.rpm), and the ntfs partition is mounted
properly (mounted automatically on boot). The problem I have is that
only root can access the ntfs partition. normal user can't do a simple ls .
Why is that? How should look th fstab line in order to be able cu read
from that partition as a normal user?
Here is my current fstab line:

/dev/hda1 /mnt/ntfs ntfs auto,users,ro 0 0

Thanks.
