Raid card that works in Fedora

I had the same problem, my sollution was to upgrade everything but the
kernel to FC1 via apt-get, so now my box running with hpt374-raid is
running FC1-software all the way but the kernel is still the same.
I know it's cheating me out of a kernel-update, but heck, it works :)
