invalid compressed format

Just downloaded all three iso's via ftp.
Tried burning the images with:
cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 yarrow-i386-disc1.iso

and X-cdroast (i set the speed nice and slow just in case)

and I get the following error upon booting the first CD.

Uncompressing Linux...

invalid compressed format (err=1)

-- System halted


I get this same error on another computer too. I've tried reburning the
disc's several times. Any ideas?

BTW. I can mount the disc using -o loop and it works fine...
