This worked for me.  This issue is already in buzilla at 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=109366 - I've added 
a comment with my observations and workaround (which was to delete 
~/.openoffice, since I didn't care about any openoffice preferences).
