xDSL connection does not starts correctly

I have the exact same occurance and thought it was just because i'm still 
relatively new to linux. I've been trying to work on it, but to no avail.  
Luckily I have a dual boot and can still get online to get this email.  
Hopefully somebody else has already had the problem and the solution.
