loss of install options

not as much as before -- custom-select packages individually is no longer an
option.
one of the areas where SuSE scores in my opinion is that when you deselect a
package everything else that has nothing to do with any other package also gets
deselected. It does not seem to be the case with Fedora Core 1/Redhat 9. The
option for SuSE reduces bloat -- a very Windoze feature which has no place in a
good OS, in my opinion.....
