Problem installing on Dell Gx150

Hi

I'm trying to install Fedora Core 1 on a Dell GX150 desktop computer.  
But then Anaconda tries to start I get the following error:

error 2 reading header: cpio: Bad magic
error 2 reading header: cpio: Bad magic
error 2 reading header: cpio: Bad magic

Lower on the screen I get the following

Running anaconda, the Fedora Core system installer - please wait...
exec of anaconda failed: Bad adressinstall exited abnormally
sending termination signals...done
sending kill signals...done

some more text about shutting down and then finally

you may safely reboot your system...

AND yes I have tested the media and I have used it to install on 
another computer.

Anyone else having these problems????
