fedora will not access dhcp server to get IP

Could you give use the configuration of IPTables?
# iptables --list -v -n

Could you try releasing you ip in Windows 2000 and symilar OS's? Sometimes
the DHCP servers don't give out the IP again if they think that there is
still a dhcp client that owns the adres, even though you know that the
computer rebooted and is running a different OS now.
c:\>ipconfig /release
