I'll be submitting a Fedora friendly tripwire 2.3.1-18b to QA, probably
by the end of this week.

You're unlikely to get 2.3-47 working on your system, unless you can
backport the various patches. That's something for future consideration,
but for now 2.3.1-18b is in development and currently builds, installs and
runs stable on my production system. There's still some cleaning up to do,
but everything's running to schedule.

Patience.
