Evolution + files on a file server?

The only problem I've seen so far with Evolution and IMAP is when you
lose network connectivity (for example, when suspending the system).
That's all. I've got Cyrus IMAP + Kerberos V on the server side, and
Evolution + Kerberos V authentication on the client and works
flawlessly.
