nautilus default file action

Hi all,

when I set menu-> preferences-> file types and programs-> image-> png->
edit-> default action to Eye of Gnome, the first time I double click on
a png (in nautilus) it opens in eog, but then subsequent times, it opens
in the 'inline' nautilus image viewer.

If I then go back to file types and programs, (the option hasn't
changed) and again select eog, the same thing happens (first time ok,
subsequent times, not ok!).

Its as if nautilus is resetting this somehow.

Has anyone else seen this?
