Mozilla Firebird and Thunderbird

Start Thunderbird, then try and start Mozilla.....complains and then 
stops. Open Mozilla, then Thunderbird, then click on a URL in an email
and it doesn't work.

I also couldn't get Firebird to be my default browser.

Until these two become better integrated, I'm sticking to Mozilla/Mail
