Hi,

a related question: A lot of characters are accessible through combinations 
with AltGr (like AltGr-e -> Euro sign)
I would like to add a shortcut 
AltGr-n  -> ntilde (ñ)

I though that it is sufficient to modifiy the file
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/symbols/de
(I'm using German keyboard layout)
an add the line:

    key <AB06> {        [         n,    N               ],
                        [    ntilde,    Ntilde          ]       };

However it doesn't work. What's the correct way of doing this?
