xscreensaver: is it just me, or did it die when FC 1 arrived?

When i upgraded to FC1, I lost my Lock Screen functionality. I managed
to discern that this is caused by the fact that the xscreensaver-command
etc. no longer existing. In it's place is `xscreensaver.kss'.

Anyone else experience this? I *really* want this feature back :(
