Iso's newbie question

I downloaded the full set of Iso files, hat are now on my PC.
How can I burn to a CD and make it bootable???
I tried this way:
mount -o loop -t iso9660 yarrow-i386-disc1.iso <mountpoint>

then I selected all files in the mountpoint directory an burn them by 
Gnometoaster.
Of course the CD didn't boot, otherwise I wouldn't waste my time (and 
yours) writing this e-mail ;-)

What is wrong??
