I would be interested in reading such a document. I don't have any mp3s, 
so xmms-mp3 isn't a big issue... but I do have some quicktime videos 
that mplayer can't play the audio on, so I wouldn't mind having a guide 
to installing other movie players, in the hopes that they can play my 
files :)
