The thing is that the urls for the fedora repositories changed:
 on yum.conf:

[base]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Base
baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/1/i386/os/

[updates-released]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Released Updates
baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/1/i386/

on /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources:

yum fedora-core-1
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/1/i386/os/
yum updates-released
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/1/i386/
